Freebie Friday - Shapes and Borders

I've been learning how to make my digital cutter files available in different file formats, so I can share them with you! Each Friday, I will post a link for a free file for your digital cutter! The file will usually be from something I have created earlier in the week, so you can see what it looks like cut and have an example of a project you can make. Downloads will be available for one week and are for personal use only. Links are at the bottom of the post. Here are this week's freebies. Enjoy!
This week I finished my menu board! I used my digital cutter to cut out the rectangle shape behind the "what's for dinner?".

Menu Board

This project took me way too long to finish, but I can finally say it is done!
This is actually a Pinterest inspired project found here. My sisters and I got together one afternoon to put them together. Two months later...I finally finished mine.
One of my sisters had the great idea of adding the kids' kitchen jobs at the bottom.

To make meal planning even easier, we decided to add side dishes to each meal. Meals are also grouped by color so I can easily find quick meals, crock pot meals, etc.
The pockets are for the meal tags. The meals start in the bottom and move to the top once I have made them. When most of them are in the top pocket, I can move them all back to the bottom and start over again.
I am really excited about how it turned out and I really hope it will help me do better at planning meals.

So, what's for dinner at your house?

St. Patrick's Rag Garland

I needed some type of garland to put on top of my seasonal shelf, but I couldn't find anything that I really liked in the stores. So, I searched around for ideas and eventually decided to make a rag garland.
I used 8 fabrics, a couple were St. Patrick's prints, but most were just generic prints in different shades of green.
I cut my strips (with a rotary cutter) about 1.5" x 6" and tied them around some thick string. It took about 10-12 strips per inch.
I was a little worried when I first started. But, by the time I tied on the last strip, I was totally excited about the results. What a cute and simple project that can be customized for any holiday or occasion!

Geometric Clover Pattern

This design is totally different from my normal style, but I thought it would be fun to try something new.
I've been learning to use Illustrator to create patterns and I thought it would be fun to combine clovers and this geometric design. I cut it out of green vinyl and applied it to a while plate.
Come back on Friday to get the free file to create your own!

Simple Shamrock Decoration

This was an easy St. Patrick's decoration that took about 5 minutes to put together and everything I used was leftover from other projects! The background is actually Christmas scrapbook paper, but the colors matched my vinyl perfectly.

The cute shamrock will be this weeks freebie. I hope you'll come back later and grab it!
