BB&B Dandelion Wall Plaques

I saw these wall plaques in a Bed Bath and Beyonds catalog.  I thought they were super cute and thought they would look great in my bedroom.  I started thinking about how to make them myself.  I love how they turned out!

Heres what you will need:
3 – 8″ x 24″ Boards
65-70 small flat clear marbles
mod podge
glue gun
scrapbook paper or cardstock
vinyl stems
spray paint
picture hangers
First, sand and paint your boards.  While that is drying, you can work on the marbles.  I used mod podge to adhere the cardstock to the back of them.  After it was dry, I carefully cut around each marble.  After the boards are dry, lay them on a flat area, with the spacing you want (3/4 – 1 inch apart).  Arrange the vinyl stems and apply them to the boards.  Use an exacto knife to cut off pieces that go over the spaces.  Next, hot glue the flat marbles to the tops of the dandelions.  Finally, attach picture hangers to the back and hang your finished project.
